The Lupus Research Alliance shares its heartfelt appreciation with the Lupus and Allied Diseases Association, Inc. (LADA) for its generous $200,000 donation to support lupus research. This latest contribution brings LADA’s total support of the Lupus Research Alliance’s efforts to $1,631,050 over the years.
LADA President & CEO Kathleen A. Arntsen presented the donation on August 13th at the organization’s 26th Annual Lupus Charity Golf Classic. Since its inception in 2000, the event has raised millions of dollars to advance critical lupus research – inspiring those affected by the disease.
Both the Lupus Research Alliance and LADA share a deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals with lupus through relentless research.
“At LADA, we believe that everyone affected by lupus and allied diseases deserves the opportunity to achieve their goals and live as full a life as possible,” Ms. Arntsen said. “Supporting research is the most powerful tool that we have to advance new treatments and ultimately conquer lupus.”
