About Us
The Young Leaders Board was founded in 2005 to empower the growing number of young adults committed to improving the lives of people living with lupus. Today, approximately 100 members throughout the country have joined the Young Leaders in the fight to free the world of lupus. Members meet on a monthly basis.
Mission
The Lupus Research Alliance Young Leaders Board (LRA YLB) is a diverse group of young professionals united to raise lupus awareness, fundraise, and advocate for lupus research programs. Volunteers to the Young Leaders Board serve as ambassadors for the organization to carry out its mission. Members engage in community outreach, plan fundraising events, develop educational initiatives for disease awareness, and attend social gatherings with their peers.
