Toolkit for Community Education Program

You can make a difference in educating the public about lupus. The 2021 “What You Need to Know About Lupus” toolkit provides information you need to conduct  community awareness presentations. The materials provided in this toolkit are designed to help individuals recognize the signs and symptoms of lupus, encourage individuals to connect with health care providers who are knowledgeable about lupus, learn about clinical trials you might join, and support individuals to care for themselves or a loved one. The Lupus Research Alliance developed this presentation in consultation with the National Minority Quality Forum, a non-profit charged with helping to “eliminate the disproportionate burden of premature death and preventable illness for racial and ethnic minorities and other special populations.”
