Man Runs 70 Miles Along M-22 for Lupus Cure
Northern Michigan, MI -- (9and10News.com) - Call it running - a very long way - for a cause.
This morning, a 5k walk was held for lupusresearch in Frankfort.
But one man has decided to take things to a whole new level - by running 70 miles along M-22 from Suttons Bay to Frankfort.
We caught up with him in Glen Arbor.
Steve Walrad made the long run in honor of his aunt, who's had Lupus for 45 years.
He's running in five mile increments, then taking a break for water and a quick walk.
He says it might seem like a big task, but he's more than happy to do it.
9&10's Evan Dean met up with Steve along his trek and has the story.
