ALR Collaborating for a Cure Reception

More Than $800,000 Raised at New York Jets Kickoff Luncheon

Mayor Michael BloombergMore than 600 Jets fans joined us at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on August 27, 2008 for the annual New York Jets Kickooff Luncheon, raising more than $800,000 for ALR-funded lupus research and the New York Jets Foundation. Top ALR Walk with Us to Cure Lupus fundraisers from New York City, Long Island and New Jersey were among ALR's guests at the luncheon paying tribute to our good friend and supporter, Joe Trunfio.

New York Jets Help Tackle Lupus at ALR Lupus Awareness Day

Sunday, September 28, 2008 brought wind and rain to the "Jets" Meadowlands Stadium. Despite the weather, the third annual ALR Lupus Awareness Day was a great success, increasing awareness and raising money for lupus research.
