New Community Walks Raise Mega-Funds for Research

As part of ALR's efforts to raise money for lupus research, we've recently launched the ALR Community Walk Program. ALR Community Walks are fully planned and executed by volunteers who share our passion for finding a cure for lupus.

To date, ALR Community Walks held in San Luis Obispo, CA, Sarasota, FL and Connecticut have raised approximately $74,000. Congratulations to all who have taken part in making their ALR Community Walks a success! ALR Community Walks are scheduled to take place in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday, October 4, 2008 and San Luis Obispo, CA on Saturday, October 25, 2008.

For more information on upcoming walks or to learn how to start a walk of your own, please visit our website at: www.walk.lupusresearch.org
