ADVOCACY CORNER — "Could I Have Lupus?" Awareness Campaign Launches

ALR, along with the Office on Women's Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and more than 15 other groups, is proud to announce the launch of a new lupus public-service campaign beginning in Fall 2008.

The Campaign to Raise Lupus Awareness will include PSAs, television ads, billboards and more. The goal is to share information about the symptoms of lupus so that women with questions will be more likely to ask their doctors, "Could I have lupus?"

Watch for more information in the coming months and keep your eyes and ears open for announcements in your community.
