The ALR's unparalleled Scientific Advisory Board, ALR funded investigators and key area volunteers gathered at the Marriott East Side in New York City for an evening of celebration in honor of the strides that have been made in lupus research. 

In the biggest news of the night, acting Executive Director of the ALR, Ken Farber was thrilled to announce that an anonymous donor has just recently given the ALR a $40 million dollar endowment gift, one of the largest gifts ever given to a voluntary health organization!
