A night of casino fun to benefit the ALR! The Second Annual Lupus Charity Casino Night is organized by ALR supporters Rosaria Pipitone, Estee Smoler, Rachel Cassarino and Lisa Johnson. Featured games include roulette, blackjack, poker, money wheel, 50/50 and Chinese auction. The player with the most chips at the end of the evening will win an all expense paid trip for two to Las Vegas.

On Tuesday, October 28, 2008 Team ALR participated in the New York Pass Chase for Charity event which kicked off during the morning's Fox 5 Good Day New York broadcast. ALR New York City Walk with Us to Cure Lupus volunteers Judy Dronzek, Jason Negron and Matt Niskanen represented Team ALR and raced through all five New York City boroughs to increase awareness of lupus and raise funds for lupus research.
